Award season is ramping up, and we now have the finalists for 2023’s Shirley Jackson Awards, which are given for “outstanding achievement in the literature of psychological suspense, horror, and the dark fantastic.”
The awards are voted on by a jury of professional writers, editors, critics, and academics, with input from a Board of Advisors. The winners will be announced on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Readercon 33, Conference on Imaginative Literature, in Quincy, Massachusetts.
